    Dr Ruth C White is a mental health advocate and writer. Inspired by her own journey with bipolar disorder, she is a mental health activist and advocate who focuses on eliminating mental health stigma, expanding mental health services, and works with organizations to create healthier and happier workplaces and workforces by building emotional resilience and reducing stress, burnout and compassion fatigue. Dr White was a social work professor for over 20 years, and is the author of The Stress Management Workbook, and Bipolar 101.
