Gail Aylward is the co-founder and director of Moulin de Chaves meditation centre in S W France. She has been practicing yoga and meditation for almost 30 years. She sat her first 10 day silent retreat in 1994 in Bodhgaya, India. Two years earlier, whilst living and working in London and pregnant with her first child, she attended her first yoga class in S E London, and felt straight away the benefits of this practice. 


    Over the years she continued to sit silent meditation retreats and practice yoga whilst running a meditation centre and bringing up her 2 children. In 2009, she was certified with the British School of Yoga and Yoga Alliance. As part of her training, she studied with Judith Lasater and became a relax and renew instructor. She understands that relaxation is a very important part of one's practice. Gail offers Rest, Relax and Renew retreats at Moulin de Chaves. 


    Gail is also the founder of Mindful Mentoring Ltd, a unique and supportive approach to guide and support individuals in their daily life and in their mindfulness practice where she meets with students from around the world online.
