Connirae’s “Wholeness Work” is based on principles of Eastern spiritual teachings.
Yet it offers us a specific and doable way to experience what these teachings are pointing to.
It has been said that awakening is mysterious, that it happens by grace. Some teachers have even said that if there are steps, it isn’t the “real thing”.
But what if this just means that no one has understood the actual process of awakening well enough to give us a reliable and systematic way of getting there?
“I know that spiritual teachers often say that awakening, or enlightenment, is a mystery. It’s something we can’t begin to understand, so trying to create steps to “get there” is the wrong way to go about it.
“But perhaps awakening is like a sunset. It is true that if we try to convey what a sunset is, to someone who has never experienced it, we are doomed to failure. No definition or words or concepts are going to get it across. However, we could give anyone with sight a process—some specific steps to take so they can experience a sunset for themselves. At this time of day, you walk to such a place, face the west and you will experience a sunset. If these steps are correct, he or she will be able to experience the sunset for themselves. And I think awakening, or enlightenment, may be like this too.” --Connirae Andreas, about the new Wholeness Work
My goal was to develop a process that went deep enough to the core of our experience to be effective with everything from the seemingly trivial to our biggest life issues.
