Jeremy is a native of Washington, DC, with degrees in literature and writing from Boston-area universities. Since 2000, he has been a firefighter/EMT for the Minneapolis Fire Department. His book, Trauma Sponges: Dispatches from the Scarred Heart of Emergency Response, was published by University of MN Press in 2023.
