Dr Daniel Brown sadly passed away between his interview with us being recorded and our event being broadcast. Dan's contributions to the fields of psychology, meditation and attachment theory are truly immense and we know he will be dearly missed by many. Thank you Dan for your tireless efforts over so many decades.

Dr Daniel Brown, former director of The Center for Integrative Psychotherapy, Newton MA; Associate Professor of Psychology, Harvard Medical School at BIDMC, was on the faculty of Harvard Medical School for 40 years, where he taught a course on performance excellence and on assessing and treating attachment disturbances. As a Western psychologist he spent 10 years conducting outcomes research on beginning and advanced meditators, including a recent study identifying the neurocircuitry of awakened awareness.
