Lucy originally trained with The Life Centre, London's oldest specialist yoga and complementary health centre here in London and was drawn to working around birth after the birth of her two children - her first pregnancy was in 1998.

Lucy has chosen to only work within the field of Pregnancy, Birth & Motherhood - supporting women and their families through this profound period of change and opportunity in their lives – and has had the opportunity to study and train with some of the world's most senior and respected teachers, including:

Janet Balaskas and Alice Charlwood from the Active Birth Centre Uma Dinsmore Tuli from The Sitaram Partnership to teach pregnancy and birth yoga and Well Women Yoga Therapy Ingrid Lewis and François Freedman from Birthlight to teach Birth Preparation The amazing Ina May Gaskin The inspiring Mr Michel Odent The wonderful Katherine Graves to teach HypnoBirthing Katy Appleton from AppleYoga After the birth of her second child, Lucy decided to train as a Doula and HypnoBirthing practitioner; and has had the opportunity to attend attended several wonderful births. Giving birth is a journey of self-discovery when women discover strengths and resources in themselves and their bodies they had no idea were there. It is Lucy’s firm belief is that with the experience of pregnancy yoga, breathing and realistic birth preparation to draw on, women are able to feel positive about their birth; to celebrate it. Lucy loves her work and feels honored to be able to share this special time with families. Lucy currently teaches Pregnancy Yoga, Mummy & Me Yoga, Postnatal Yoga, Baby Massage, Private HypnoBirthing & a variety of Birth Preparation courses.

It is my firm belief that with the experience of pregnancy yoga, breathing and realistic birth preparation to draw on, women are able to feel positive about their birth; to celebrate it.
