Coming from the Krishnamacharya lineage, Isabell teaches flowing Vinyasa classes.
These link movement and breath in imaginative, sometimes challenging and always fun sequences, balancing the energy of dynamic movement with the stillness of a moving meditation. In her classes she emphasizes physical and subtle energetic aspects, guiding students to become more aware of the body and familiar with the mind.
Her teaching is warm and welcoming and often includes some yoga philosophy and pranayama.
Isabell regularly attends vipassana retreats at Amaravati monastery and studies with some of the world's leading yoga teachers including Richard Freeman, Shiva Rea, Sarah Powers and Rod Stryker. She trained with yogacampus and holds British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance accreditation.
Yoga is a place of balance, an intimate connection between body and mind, the world around us and beyond us. It gives us a framework to develop a deeper awareness and understanding to live a more meaningful, happy life – even if it’s just for a moment every day.
